Keeping Your Purpose – Or Die
Keeping your purpose and the focus of that purpose as the centre of analysis, will reveal the boundaries (both the inner and outer) in the current operations of your business. It will also expose those areas which need more knowledge, understanding, wisdom, energy and effort, providing the pathway to successional learning, which will give you the continuous control in your business realm for its development and future growth.
It will also prevent wasteful diversions into areas that are not really aligned with your business which would take you off course and weaken your objectives. Businesses die from scattered diversionary objectives. Eventually, no one knows what’s really important for producing business revenue.
Defining the true purpose of your business and refreshing everyone with it on a regular basis, ensures your business will stay on track in order to meet its goal to bring in the money!
Your team must not have more than one goal post. If you give them more, they will always drift to the easiest one to score and it’s usually the least rewarding for both the business and for them.
